Ah, yes, seems like a good day for an update- got out of work early today. Although, I have come to the conclusion that I'm a big nerd..left my lab goggles on my head after pushing them back when I got done making a Copper sulfate solution, and then proceeded to get on a crowded bus, and not realize they were there until the bus lurched and they fell into my lap- wow, how cool can i get?

anyway, another cool thing about today- I got to revise an experiment for the lab i work in. As i skimmed through it though, i came across a word i'd never seen before (now the thing is- I should have seen it before, considering I took this lab last year..but you know..) dictionary.com has this to say:

Concomitant :One that occurs or exists concurrently with another.

now, before you all say " you should know what that means, I do," why couldn't they just say it in plainer terms? No wonder everyone in that lab gets crappy scores- they can't understand the stupid manual. Unfortunately, this is an insight into the steady decline of our country's vocabulary (i'll be the first to admit i had to look up the word..) anyway, i was thinking about changing it, so that people would understand without the use of a dictionary..then i thought better of it, they should learn to use a dictionary anyway. On that note, I'm going to work on some physics now- wooo..fun friday night there! have a good weekend- only a week until break!!!!

alright, i've been informed once again that I need to update-so here's an update for you Adam I guess I kind of forget about xanga, since I have facebook to entertain me most of the time - if you don't know what that is, it's pretty much the same thing as xanga, except it's just used for connecting poeple at different colleges. Obviously, not all the colleges have it yet, but a fair few do, so you add friends, and groups, and it's pretty entertaining, but kind of distracting at the same time.

School is going well. Pretty busy, but I don't mind. I'm really enjoying wind ensemble this semester- playing the Eb clarinet is a lot of fun. I also really like orchestra. It's a nice change; the only thing I dont like about it- it's two hours twice a week..which can get a bit long for playing. I figured out that I played 6 hours altogether last thursday- crazy.

I've been thinking about what a friendship really is lately. It's kind of interesting to take a step back and see what people say as opposed to what they actually do. I love all my friends dearly, and would do just about anything for them, but sometimes, they can be really hurtful, whether or not they mean to be. Just a couple of weekends ago, I got pretty cutting remarks from two people on separate occasions, and it made me wonder what i'd done to recieve them, becuase I really hadn't said anything to bring it on.  I guess it made me wonder if people see me as some really shallow person that doesn't think about things..I'd like to think I'm not, but I guess I can't control what other poeple think.

Anyway, that's depressing and happened a while ago..so no need to dwell on it- I'm going to get back to watching some TV- and then getting some sleep. Hope you all are having a great February so far

alright, so i thought since it's been a while, I could leave a little update. Today was the beginning of finals. I got through two of them, and just have the dreaded physics test ahead of me tomorrow night. I'm feeling alright about it now (hopefully i'll feel the same way 24 hours from now, we'll see.) Organic chem went pretty well today, differential equations was not fun, but such is life.

I am really excited for christmas break. Even though I have to come back for a couple of days for the bowl game, it'll be soo nice to have time away from school and work and tests.

well..I should get back to reviewing for physics, i know this was short and pretty uninteresting, but that's alright. Good luck to everyone who has finals this week and hopefully I'll see some of you over break

I don't really have anything to write.   you seem to.....hahaha.  I shouldn't say anything because you're just going to type it.  People are going to think I'm smoking crack..  Kiefer no, don't write that in.   Kiefer NO!  Don't you have to take and English course?  So won't you wanna be talking that in there?  Can you put half your conversation in there so it doesn't seem like I'm talking to myself.  Damnit.  Don't write that, but you're gonna write it anyway.  **pen drop**  he He HE. oh ym goodness, you're such a dork.  **silence**  I knew that was coming.  haha Nice.  No.  haha mmmmmm.   nice try.  Kiefer this is not exactly and interestng entry with what i'm saying in this weird broken up entry so it's like i'm having a conversation with myself online.  Go ahead and write that whole sentence.  Yea there' all gonna be thinking i'm retarded.  Don't write that Come On!  OK.  DChill out.  You ok?  Whitey is my HERO!

alright, so I decided that I should update this thing myself. It's pretty much been taken over in the past month (hence all the Iowa stuff and colors..considering I go to ISU, that wasn't really my doing) anyway, things are going well here.  I just got done with my first physics test; which proved to be quite the exam. I'm not a fan of professors saying things will be "this easy" and then going and putting something completely hard and barely covered in class on the test. Ah, such is life though.

Marching band is fun; we finally get a bit of a break from games for a couple of weeks. Our next one is homecoming (hopefully we won't get flattened by Texas A&M, but we'll see) The weather is getting a lot nicer, so it's not so bad marching and being outside in the afternoon. I'm also playing Eb clarinet this year in Wind ensemble, tha'ts going alright. It's a lot different then Bb when it comes to how much more air is required to get notes to come out, but I'm doing alright.

Well, that's about all right now. I'm going to get back to my physics lab work and try to understand that before tomorrow. Hope everything is going great for everyone! Night
